About Michael

Mike has focused primarily in the business, real estate, and estate planning areas and has represented numerous public entities, including but not limited to, various school districts, The University of Toledo, The Toledo Lucas County Port Authority, The Sandusky County Regional Airport Authority, The Toledo Lucas County Public Library and the Metropolitan Park District of the Toledo Area. Mike is a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, current Executive Secretary of Serra International, the current District Governor of the Toledo Serra Club, past President of the St. Joan of Arc Athletic Board, on the Executive Committee of the Maumee Valley Historical Society, and sits on the boards of Friends of Russian Orphans and Image Trinity. Mike volunteers as a coach and scout leader. Mike is a past President of the Toledo Bar Association Real Estate Committee and currently sits on the Bar Admissions Committee. He is active at St. Joan of Arc Parish, has been married for 32 years, and has four children.

  • Assisted a public university in acquiring real property, both privately and through eminent domain, for the expansion of its main campus

  • Assisted County library system in a multi-million dollar expansion of its main library as well as the construction and renovation of numerous branch libraries

With our extensive background in public law, our attorneys are experienced and knowledgeable about Ohio’s competitive bid laws. We often advise school districts and other public clients regarding the situations in which bidding is required, the selection of qualifying bids, and the strengths or weaknesses of challenges to the bid process, and further have successfully defended against such challenges in court.

Construction and Lien Law
